Public sector management professionals dedicated to the efficient delivery of services to the citizens of the Commonwealth.

The Certified Public Manager® (CPM) program began in Georgia in 1976 and was soon endorsed by other states as a model for training and developing professional public managers. The Kentucky CPM Program was first established in 1985 through the Governmental Services Center (GSC) and Kentucky State University (KSU). Today the Program is no longer offered but the Society remains hopeful that a new provider will be found and stands ready to assist in the rebirth of the Program.

These three like-minded organizations have members across the globe, and each is devoted to the continued education and training of public employees.
We invite you to browse through this web site, contact us with any questions you may have, and join the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Managers®! To apply for membership, complete the application provided in the Membership Information link.
